To the him who fixed my soul :)

We talked like lovers, and laughed like best friends.
We painted the city green, and danced till the night's end.
We crashed our car, and walked a lonely night trail,
For in each other's arms, we knew we'd always be brave.

We shared wild stories, some true, some wishful.
We held on to each other, too precious to let go,
We saw in each other, every line, every fault,
Little did it matter, for this world was our very own.

We tasted cheese and wine, pretending we were posh,
All the while giggling, like some young teenage rush.
We walked down the river, into the setting sun,
Our eyes glistened, as you kissed me some.

You are kind and gentle, and you always treat me so,
I remember on the beach once, I couldn't find my hold,
I was cut on coral, bruised by my clumsy fall,
You swept to my rescue, holding me tight, not letting go.

With you, I always feel beautiful, like a princess in gold,
You make me feel like I'm enough, in your little world,
You are my strength, my rock, my pillar, so close,
You love me more than I will ever know.

Laying next to each other, under this clear starry night,
As we say goodbye, holding hands, tears to fight,
I just need you to know that I will always love you so,
For it is only once, I will meet you,
You, the person, who fixed my soul.
